The 23rd Göcek Atatürk Cup Races Have Been Completed

The Autumn Sailing Race Week, organized every November by the Göcek Yacht Club, took place this year in the Fethiye Gulf between 03-07 November 2025.

The Autumn Sailing Race Week, organized every November by the Göcek Yacht Club, took place this year in the Fethiye Gulf between 03-07 November 2025. A total of 699 sailors from 19 countries completed the races in eight different groups during the race week, which saw the participation of 81 boats based on the online registration of 73 boats.

The boats competed in eight different divisions: IRC 1, IRC 2, IRC 3, IRC 4, IRC 5, IRC CHARTER 1, IRC CHARTER 2, and IRC CHARTER 3.

Following the completion of registration on Monday, November 3, 2025, the race week began with an Opening Reception organized by Göcek D-Resort in the evening of the same day. Three of the six races planned for November 3-7, 2025, were successfully completed during the week, but three races were not held due to insufficient wind. At the end of the races, the following trophies were awarded to the day's winners and the top three overall winners. The following trophies were awarded at the dinner and awards ceremony held at night. They found their winners.

• IRC 5 Group Winner Team - Hey Teacher
• IRC Charter 1 Group Winner Team - Juana
• IRC Charter 2 Group Winner Team - Pandeia
• IRC Charter 3 Group Winner Team - 4 Friends

D Marin, which has supported the sailing races organized by the Göcek Yacht Club for many years, presented the racers with a day trophy for a race organized in its name.

Day race awards were also presented on behalf of the Chamber of Shipping, which supported our race in November.

A one-day race award was given in memory of Necati Zincirkıran, a prominent figure in Turkish journalism known for his passion for the sea and sailing, whom we lost in September, and was commemorated on stage.

Atatürk was commemorated on stage on the final day of the 23rd Göcek Atatürk Cup.

Thanks to the races growing with increasing participation each year and the local supporters and sponsors who make significant contributions to the Göcek Yacht Club, the 23rd GÖCEK ATATÜRK CUP was completed successfully.
