INTERNATIONAL GOCEK REGATTA 19-23 MAY 2008
Just
like every year the Göcek Yacht Club inspired us again by
organising the 9th International Gocek
Regatta. This 5-day-event finished with a fantastic awards ceremony
and party. All participants underwent an unforgettable beautiful
evening.
From 19th to 24th May
a total of 34 yachts participated in the race. The national
and international interest has been very high. 300 competitors
from 11 countries opened their sails in the magnificent bays of
Gocek. Attendees entered the race using either their own boat or a
rented yacht.
A
total of 6 races took place at the Regatta. National
attendants arrived from Istanbul, Ankara and Izmir.
We

Overall the 9th International Gocek Regatta was a
complete success. All sailors and guests will remember this greatly
organised week for a long time. We are
already looking forward to the next Regatta on 10th
November,
